Five vortex column water features
were produced for Yamanouchi, Japan’s 2nd largest
drugs company. Each feature had a ‘resting’
and ‘activated’ display mode and reacted either
to the press of a button or the pressure on a floor pad.
Some of the features were always
fully filled with water, some filled and emptied, others
had air bubbles interacting with the vortices within them.
The features were commissioned by Photosound, Yamanouchi’s
exhibition company who designed, managed and produced
the stands. They were designed, built, installed and supported
on site by James Designs.
James Designs is able to offer
the hire of both vortex column and vortex globe water
features both in the UK and abroad.
